Rules & Regulations

  1. All pupils are required to be in the school premises before the commencement of the school assembly.
  2. All pupils shall attend the class punctually with their lessons well prepared. They shall come to school neat and tidy in the prescribed uniform.
  3. Books must have a neat, clean, brown paper cover labeled with the pupil’s name. The text books and note books should be maintained properly and the same should be brought to class for the concerned periods. The class notes, and homework should be completed then and there. The same should be got corrected by the concerned teachers. In case of absentees the notes during the days of absence should be first completed before they go to the current.
  4. Pupils are expected to keep the class room and school premises absolutely clean.
  5. Every pupil must behave respectfully towards the members of the staff.
  6. Every pupil must take part in school games and other activities unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the principal.
  7. Parents are requested to co-operate with the staff and ensure the progress of their children by paying attention to their regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking interest in the children’s work. Supervision of the home work is very important.
  8. Parents are requested to examine carefully the report of the terminal examinations and mid term tests and pay attention to see that their children make special effort to study those subjects in which they are weak.
  9. Only English should be spoken inside the school premises.
  10. Every pupil must bring the school hand book to school everyday.
  11. Fees are to be paid before the 10th of every month failing which a fine of Rs.5/- will be collected.
  12. No pupil should be absent without a leave letter.
  13. Special permission to leave earlier than usual will be granted when request in writing is made by the parent or guardian.
  14. Parents are requested not to meet the teachers during the teaching hours to discuss about their children’s studies but to fix-up an appointment before / after school hours.
  15. Parents should see that their children study and do their home work regularly.
  16. Children should not wear any costly jewellery.
  17. Girls are not allowed to wear jeans and ‘T’ shirt
  18. All pupils must attend the school punctually and requiring to leave the campus during the school hours should obtain prior permission from the principal. The same should be informed to the class teacher before leaving the campus.
  19. Any student caught in the act of malpractice will be expelled from the school.
  20. Any student who fails for 2 years in succession will not be allowed to continue in the school.
  21. Damage done to buildings, furniture, library books, sports goods etc., must be paid at the discretion of the principal.
  22. Pupils are responsible for their own books, fountain pens, cycles, tiffin carriers, gold ornaments or any other articles; While every effort is made by the school to reduce losses of such articles the ultimate responsibility rests with the children themselves.
  23. When a teacher enters or leaves the class pupils are expected to stand up as a sign of respect. Pupils should stand in respect and greet any teacher they happen to meet anywhere.
  24. Any serious breach of discipline and above all disrespect and disobedience to the member of the school staff Inside or outside the school premises will be treated seriously.
  25. Regular late coming, frequent absence, negligence in wearing uniforms, carelessness in studies will be viewed seriously.
  26. Promotion is entirely dependent on his / her attendance and terminal examinations.
  27. The boys should come to school with their hair properly cut. No boy with long hair well be allowed to attend the class.
  28. It is a serious offence for the day scholars to perform outside errand of the hostellers, such as carrying messages, letters making purchase etc.,
  29. Parents are requested to sign the Progress Reports, Late Attendance record, Absence record and the Notes to parents which are sent by the teachers to them through Hand-Book.
  30. Parents should ensure that their ward rejoins the school on the scheduled reopening dates.
  31. A record of the address of the parent / guardian is maintained in the school office. Any change of address should be communicated without delay.
  32. As per Government rule students are not supposed to use mobile phones inside school and hostel premisis. Students are asked to refrain from having mobile phones. If it is found with the students the same will be confiscated.
